September 2026

DPD is the first courier after CTT, level with CTT Expresso and far behind the leader.

GLS, DHL and UPS form a level third tier, with FedEx, Nacex, TNT and SEUR behind.

Only a minority of CTT shops advertise, so an ads filter shortens the leader's list a lot.

What this means

What to do with it.

CTT reaches the majority of Portuguese shops with a named courier, so target the shops that offer CTT alone; DPD, GLS, DHL and UPS are the specific lists, each far smaller. CTT shops run on WooCommerce first, then Shopify, PrestaShop and OpenCart.

Couriers and 3PLs

Target shops that offer CTT and no DPD, GLS or DHL; with every challenger far behind, the single-courier CTT shop is the normal opening for a second lane.

Marketplaces

Reach Portuguese sellers that offer DHL, UPS or FedEx next to CTT; the international names are each a small, specific group.

Ecommerce software and email tools

Work WooCommerce shops first in Portugal, then Shopify, PrestaShop and OpenCart, the platform order behind CTT.
